FUTURES PROGRAM

GRADES 1-4

The Futures Program is designed for players in grades 2-5 and our staff is made up of former Professional (MLL) players and coaches, current college / high school coaches, and occasionally we will have special guest coaches in attendance. The goal for this age group is to help the players lay a solid foundations of core skillsets and growing confidence, while having fun and experiencing the joy & fun this game can offer! Our model provides a positive and engaging learning environment giving players the opportunity develop their skillset at their individual pace. Getting high touch/rep counts and with active gameplay, the young players are engaged and wanting to learn & play more!

“My 8 year old son participated with Coach Brett & Garber Gorilla. Coach did an excellent job providing skill instructions which allowed the kids to work on their fundamentals.  My son learned continuously throughout.. and was excited to go home and practice what he learned.  Coach Brett made it fun all while the kids were working hard.  It was impressive how he was able to move the group around so effectively from drill to drill and keep their attention.  Drills were fast moving and efficient so there wasn’t a lot of downtime and the kids got a number of reps in. Each week the kids were challenged with new drills.  Coach Brett was committed to teaching the basics of lacrosse, focusing on stick work and building confidence. I highly recommend and I am looking forward to having my son participate in more programs with Gorilla Lacrosse.”
